Brand representation is a training problem, not a staffing one

When a field program damages a brand, the post-mortem usually blames who was hired. More often the people were fine and the preparation was not.

A representative speaking to a customer is the brand, with none of the review cycles that protect a piece of advertising. The only equivalent safeguard is training that happens before anyone is in front of a customer.

Certification should be a real gate: product knowledge, claim boundaries, and what to do when a question falls outside them. If everyone passes on the first attempt, the gate is decorative.

Then daily reps. Standards decay quietly without practice, and a short drill at the start of each shift keeps the language accurate.

Staffing decides whether you have enough people. Training decides whether having them is good for the brand.
